Overview

Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various systems including powertrain, diesel engines, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and vehicle electrical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery to execute repairs with precision.
- Service and maintain vehicles by replacing parts, adjusting systems, and ensuring optimal performance through routine maintenance tasks.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic problems effectively.
- Execute auto body repairs when necessary, ensuring vehicles meet safety standards and aesthetic quality.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in dealership settings or similar automotive service environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in automotive repair including powertrain, diesel engines, and vehicle electrical systems.
- Familiarity with ADAS technology, vehicle alignment procedures, and the use of diagnostic software.
- Experience working with GM vehicles or comparable brands is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex electrical or mechanical issues efficiently.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance procedures.
