Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Burrito Artist to join our vibrant food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious burritos and other menu items, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble burritos and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at the end of shifts
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely order completion and customer satisfaction
- Assist in inventory management by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed
- Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, food service, or cashiering is preferred but not required; restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or prior food handling experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and food preparation procedures
Pay: $17.60 per hour
