Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the comfort and safety of individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those experiencing dementia. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions and safety protocols
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury
- Observe and report any changes in health status or behavior to supervising staff
- Support clients with activities tailored to their individual needs, including dementia care or working with individuals with disabilities
- Follow care plans and document care provided accurately and timely
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred; experience with senior care, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Certification or training in medication administration is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn required procedures
- Compassionate attitude with strong caregiving skills and patience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility safely
- Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality care at all times
