Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

Home Instead Calgary is seeking a Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. The role is about finding the best and brightest talent to join us on our mission to care for seniors in their homes.
Home Instead Calgary provides thousands of hours of Home Care each month for seniors in the community and we are looking for an individual that is going to be able to grow with our company. We are driven to provide the highest quality of care to our clients and their families. Home Instead Calgary is a local family owned business and we have been proudly serving seniors in Calgary and the surrounding areas since 2009.
What your day will typically look like:
- This is a Monday to Friday, full time permanent role working from our corporate office
- Working alongside other recruiters you will be making phone calls to applicants, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
- On an average day, you will be making anywhere from 50 to 75 phone calls per day with applicants
- Using the phone or a virtual meeting platform to connect with our amazing applicants
- Conducting in person classroom presenting and training
- Organizing different staff events
- Attending career fairs and networking events with employers
Who Are We Looking For?
- Someone who is energetic and outgoing
- Has practical experience making initial recruiting calls
- Understands how to conduct a professional interview
- Must be driven to make a difference in the community
- Has excellent communication skills
- Has High Social Intelligence/High Emotional IQ
- High attention to detail as you manage administrative files
- Must be able to perform Classroom style training using MS PPT
- Must have computer skills and be proficient in Excel and Word
- Prefer 2 years experience in a recruiting role
