Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation, repair, and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. The Maintenance Worker will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs to minimize downtime and uphold safety standards across the premises.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of machinery and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems when required.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe for all personnel.
Experience
- Prior experience in general maintenance, repair work, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
