Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing prompt, courteous, and professional service. This is a dule role involving shifts both behind the bar as well as on the floor taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Prior restaurant or food service experience is mandatory, along with a strong focus on food safety and sanitation standards. We are seeking someone who will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while maintaining efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Ensure food safety standards are followed during food handling and preparation
- Assist in setting up dining areas before service and cleaning after closing shifts
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Managing guests seated at the wood as well promptly making drinks for servers
- Beer, wine and cocktail knowledge is a must
- Cashing out VLT tickets as well as maintaining an accurate till
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food industry standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for bill calculation, cash handling, and upselling techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality setting with kitchen experience preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Hospitality-oriented mindset focused on guest satisfaction and service excellence

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
