BMW Durham, part of Lakeridge Auto Gallery, is seeking to add a motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team to meet the expanding needs of the dealership.
Job Summary
As a BMW Durham New Car Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience while driving vehicle sales. You will engage with potential buyers, understand their needs and desires, and present them with BMW vehicles that best suit their lifestyle. Your role is critical in guiding customers through their purchasing process, maintaining strong product knowledge, building relationships, and achieving established sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer a premium buying experience through exceptional customer service
- Practice active listening to understand customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable BMW models and features
- Conduct test drives and explain vehicle performance, technology, and benefits
- Assist in guiding customers through finance, leasing, and purchasing options
- Stay updated on BMW models, features, and competition
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of BMW's advanced features
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and past customers to drive repeat business
- Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports in CRM systems
- Participate in all required BMW sales training and dealership events
- Multilingual an asset
Qualifications & Skills
- At least 1 year of proven experience in luxury sales
- Experience in BMW Sales an asset
- Passion for automobiles
- Valid G Licence with a clean abstract
- Valid OMVIC
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
