The Role
We're looking for an experienced Line Painting Foreman to lead our line marking operations for the 2025 season. You'll be responsible for executing parking lot striping, stencilling, and pavement marking jobs across our commercial client base — managing equipment, reading layouts, and delivering clean, accurate work on tight timelines.
This isn't a babysitting job. We want someone who can run a site, manage a labourer or two when needed, and get it done right without being micromanaged.
What You'll Be Doing
- Walk-behind line striping machines and airless sprayers
- Laying out and painting parking lot lines, directional arrows, fire lanes, accessibility stalls, and stencil markings
- Reading site plans and measurements to ensure accurate placement
- Prepping surfaces - sweeping, blowing out, marking with chalk lines
- Performing equipment checks, maintenance, and end-of-day cleanup
- Coordinating job scheduling and site access with clients and the office
- Leading a small crew on larger jobs when required
- Following all WCB and site safety requirements
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of direct line painting / pavement marking experience (parking lots, commercial, or roadway) • Solid with a line striper you can run a machine accurately and efficiently
- Experience with stencils, thermoplastic application, or traffic paint is an asset
- Able to read a site plan and lay out a job from scratch
- Class 5 driver's licence required; Class 3 or air brake endorsement is an asset • Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, or weekends when job timing requires • Takes pride in straight lines and clean finishes seriously, we notice
What We Offer
- $25–$30/hr depending on experience
- Full-time seasonal hours (May through October, possibility of year-round with snow operations) • Paid overtime where applicable per Alberta Employment Standards
