Wanderosa Wood Products Ltd. a distributor and manufacturer of raw panel, melamine and plywood products since 1983. From our 160,000 sq. ft. distribution and manufacturing centre in Bolton, Ontario we supply product throughout Southern and Central Ontario to the store fixture, millwork, kitchen cabinet, exhibit and other woodworking industries.
We are searching for an individual who is a team player, focus on customer service and someone who has a strong work ethic to join our team as a Forklift Operator/ Warehouse Associate.
Job Description
o Receiving, unloading and putting away product in a safe and efficient manner.
o Verify deliveries based on documentation.
o Picking and wrapping orders accurately for customer deliveries or pick-ups.
o Loading deliveries on our fleet of trucks.
o Use a bar code scanner to pick , ship, receive and manage inventory.
o Ensure customer pick up documentation is completed
o Serve both internal and external customers with respect and courtesy at all times.
o Maintain inventory accuracy by following best practice procedure with accurate documentation.
o Maintain a clean and safe work area.
o At beginning of each shift perform a daily safety inspection of equipment.
o Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of counter balance experience .
- Comfortable handling oversized product.
- Detailed oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong team player but also able to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Good written and verbal communication
Job Duties:
- Load and unload trucks
- Move and stack materials
- Rotate floor stock
- General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
- Follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures
- Use warehouse management software
- Receive/process shipments
- Perform proper forklift inspection, minor servicing and repairs as necessary

Experience:
- Forklift/Counter balance: 2 years (required)
