Job Summary
IVIS is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Boiler Operator to operate and maintain boiler systems on a truck to steam liners. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance knowledge, with the ability to operate, troubleshoot, and optimize boiler operations. This role requires a proactive approach to safety, efficiency, and customer service, ensuring reliable truck operations and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boiler systems using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and SCADA systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of boilers and related equipment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and document system performance.
- Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Conduct welding, HVAC adjustments, electrical repairs (including low voltage systems), and mechanical repairs as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and operational data for compliance and analysis purposes.
- Coordinate with plant personnel to ensure safety protocols are followed during operations and maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations or system failures to minimize downtime.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with internal teams regarding system status or issues.
Experience
- Proven experience in Rush mobile boiler operation or maintenance within construction environment.
- Strong background in industrial electrician work, HVAC systems, welding, and mechanical repair.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, CMMS software, and low voltage electrical systems.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices including analysis skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment, industrial electrical systems, and safety standards is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English are required for effective team collaboration and documentation. Pay: $38.75-$43.50 per hour
