We are seeking a professional, dedicated, reliable, and customer-focused Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of the premises.
Position
This is a part-time/casual position with shifts available on days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, investigating disturbances or potential security breaches.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, or any unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused at all times.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (Abstract required before hiring)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
- A valid Alberta security guard license required .
