We are currently searching for an experienced Shipper as outlined below.

Scope of Position:
The Shipping / Receiver Coordinator is responsible for safely, effectively, and accurately coordinating outgoing and inbound materials. This role will lead the Shipping team to ensure a high standard of accuracy, organization and timely shipments of outgoing materials. As Coordinator, they will actively plan, prepare all shipments and will need to be checked against requirements to ensure they are compliant from the QA standpoint and have no visible damages and match the engineering and design specifications. This role plays an integral part in overseeing and maintaining quality control standards of incoming material, and accurately managing inventory of materials.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting
- Prepare and pick / assemble shipments as assigned
- Oversee the secure and accurate loading of deliveries
- Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for outgoing / incoming items prior to signing off
- Perform and assist with inventory checks as required
- Strive to consistently meet delivery deadlines
- Uploading and organizing the shipping pictures onto the server
- Adhere to company procedures and policies to minimize error
- Endeavor to pick orders with 100% accuracy
- Process and follow up on returns
- Communications between internal teams.
- Work within QA an asset
- Other related duties as assigned
Key Skills and Core Competencies
- Strong organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where all projects are custom.
- Effective and well developed communication skills
- 3 + years Proven Shipping / Receiving history or background in a manufacturing environment
- Team player to interface and service inter-departmental and customer needs
- Attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and technical competency
- Ability to measure parts using precision measuring tools
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Tow motor and / or lift truck operation license
- Must be able to lift comfortably up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining calm demeanor
- Post-Secondary Education a definite asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated project management / coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Preferred MS Office applications, with proficiency in Word and Excel
