We're looking for a Chef de Partie who cares about food as much as we do. Someone who takes pride in their station, wants to continue developing their skills, and enjoys being part of a kitchen where standards matter. You'll be joining a team that works with quality ingredients, cooks from scratch, and takes the guest experience seriously. Whether it's a busy dinner service or a weekend brunch, every plate matters.
Good Folk has built a reputation quickly. Guests come for the mountain views and atmosphere, but they come back because the food is worth talking about. Reviews consistently mention the quality of the dishes, the creativity of the menu, and the overall dining experience.
The Job:
- Running your station and owning it.
- Preparing and executing dishes with consistency and attention to detail.
- Supporting junior cooks and helping them improve.
- Working alongside a team that values professionalism, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Contributing ideas and helping maintain the standards that have made Good Folk one of Banff's standout dining experiences.
What you Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience.
- Previous Chef de Partie experience or a strong Line Cook ready for the next step.
- A solid understanding of culinary fundamentals and kitchen organization.
- Someone who stays calm under pressure and leads by example.
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
At Good Folk, you'll be part of a growing restaurant within Banff Caribou Properties - one of the largest hospitality companies in the Bow Valley. That means opportunities to move up, develop your skills, and build a long-term career if that's what you're after.
The Perks
- Affordable employee housing.
- Annual anniversary bonus of up to $1,000.
- Complimentary stays at any of our 15 hotels.
- Food and beverage discounts across Banff Lodging Co. restaurants and cafés.
- Discounted ski passes and fitness memberships.
- Complimentary sightseeing and canoe passes.
- Discounts on spa services and retail purchases.
- Fun staff events and social activities.
- Opportunity to participate in our Employee Share Ownership Program.
There are plenty of Chef de Partie jobs out there. This one is for someone who wants to cook food they're proud of, work with a strong team, and live in one of the most beautiful places in Canada.
If that sounds like your kind of kitchen, we'd love to meet you.
