Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide exceptional support to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, medication management, and personal care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Support with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and maintaining a hygienic environment
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals
- Support residents with dementia care by implementing personalized care plans
- Help with transportation to appointments or community activities when required
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent falls or injuries
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care is preferred
- Experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly valued
- Knowledge of dementia care and medication administration is an asset
- Previous caregiving or home care experience demonstrates compassion and reliability
- Training in caregiving, cleaning, meal preparation, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
Mandatory
- Fluent in Urdu or Punjabi
