Class 3 Driver – Roll-Off Bins

We are currently looking for a dependable and safety-focused Class 3 Driver to join our operations team.
Position Summary
As a Class 3 Driver, you will operate roll-off bin trucks (hook-lift and/or winch cable systems) to safely and efficiently deliver and retrieve roll-off bins from residential and commercial sites. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure routes are completed on schedule while maintaining excellent customer service, professionalism, and adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class 3 waste collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load, transport, and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations.
- Complete assigned tasking routes on schedule.
- Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, and incidents promptly.
- Maintain accurate route and inspection documentation.
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
- Follow all company safety policies, provincial traffic laws, and industry regulations.
- Assist with other operational duties as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Air Brake (Q) Endorsement (required).
- Valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification, or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous commercial driving experience.
- Waste industry experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with roll-off bin systems considered an asset.
- Physically capable of performing repetitive lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capable of driving in various weather and/or driving conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication (English required), and teamwork skills.
- Ability and willingness to work early morning and/or occasional overtime.

Schedule
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Minimum 35 hrs / week.
- Monday to Friday (some weekend or holiday work may be required depending on operational needs).
- Early morning start times (depending on operational needs).
