Christ The King Catholic Cemetery: 7770 Steeles Ave E, Markham, ON L6B 1A8
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform regular lawn maintenance to ensure an acceptable level of maintenance in and around on our cemetery properties.
- Safe and careful handling and use of manual tools, equipment, vehicles and machinery.
- May be required to perform light maintenance on lawn equipment and tools, such as lawn mowers and trimmers.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Completion of a High School Diploma or greater is required.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s G License or G2 License, minimum.
- Previous work experience using push mowers, ride on mowers, trimmers, an asset. On-the-job training is provided.
- Ability to walk, stand, sit and push with/on mechanical equipment for prolonged periods of time in varying weather conditions is required.
- Ability to successfully complete web-based training prior to start date.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Punctual, and reliable.
- Provide your own CSA approved steel-toed safety boots, and we will provide the rest: PPE and a partial uniform.
