We are looking for a dedicated, detail‑oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in supporting our clinical team, delivering exceptional patient care, and helping maintain smooth and efficient daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with all safety and infection‑control protocols
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
- Manage and update patient records accurately
- Provide clear pre‑ and post‑operative instructions to patients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
- Greet and assist patients at reception when needed, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment plans using clear, patient‑friendly terminology
- Support administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Certification or formal training in dental assisting is preferred but not required—we provide on‑the‑job training for the right candidate
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is an asset but not mandatory
