Experienced Fence Builder / Lead Installer – Full Time
Dynamic Fencing and Decks – Greater Victoria, BC
We’re hiring an experienced fence builder who can step on site and build clean, straight fences without being told how to do every step. This is not a training position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Full fence installs: layout, post setting, panel build, and gates
- Wood, chain link, and metal fencing systems
- Setting posts properly in concrete (plumb, aligned, consistent spacing)
- Building gates that don’t sag or twist
- Reading grade and adjusting layout as needed
- Keeping jobs moving efficiently and clean
Minimum requirements (non-negotiable):
- Proven experience building fences start to finish
- Can set posts straight without supervision
- Understand layout, grade, and spacing
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail — no sloppy work
- Reliable, shows up, works hard
Bonus if you have:
- Crew lead experience
- Steel / ornamental fencing experience
- Skid steer / auger experience
Pay:
$28–$34/hour to start (based on experience)
Top-end pay available for someone who can lead jobs and run a crew efficiently
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays
