The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities and implementing standardized inventory and operational practices to ensure safety, accuracy, efficiency, and cleanliness. This role provides supervision to warehouse staff and works closely with Procurement and Supply Chain leadership to support inventory control, material flow, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do:
-
Implement and maintain standardized inventory management practices across all warehouse and yard activities
-
Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping of materials
-
Lead and coordinate cycle counts and full physical inventory counts, investigate and resolve discrepancies

Support inventory planning and material availability in coordination with Supply Chain leadership

Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping
-
Implement and maintain standardized inventory control and warehouse operating procedures
-
Conduct inventory counts (cycle counts and full physical inventories)
-
Enforce warehouse safety policies and regulatory compliance
-
Conduct regular safety inspections and investigate hazards or incidents
-
Maintain high standard of warehouse and yard organization
-
Coordinate with Procurement and Supply teams to support material availability

Identify and implement process improvements

Track, report and communicate key warehouse performance metrics

Comfortable working hands-on in the warehouse and yard as needed

Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse best practices

Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or ERP

Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and applicable regulations

Proven ability to lead and develop a team culture
Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment with regular walking, standing, lifting, and equipment operation

Occasional deskwork activities

Frequent travel to warehouses and yard sites
