Our client is a well-established, design-build contractor specializing in pre-engineered steel buildings across industrial, commercial, institutional, and public-sector projects. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced Estimator to their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates from drawings and specifications
- Complete quantity takeoffs and pricing for steel building projects
- Build relationships with subtrades, suppliers, and manufacturers
- Prepare competitive proposals and support projects through award
Requirements
- 3+ years of estimating experience
- Hands-on experience estimating pre-engineered steel buildings (PEB/PEMB) is required
- Strong understanding of structural/architectural drawings and quantity takeoffs
- Proficiency with Excel and estimating/takeoff software
