Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our compassionate veterinary team. Duties
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing excellent customer service
- Schedule appointments, manage client records, and handle phone inquiries efficiently
- Assist veterinarians with animal examinations and treatments as needed
- Prepare and maintain medical supplies and equipment for procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the clinic environment to ensure safety standards
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health measures
Skills
- Strong communication skills and strong animal experience with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Should have work experience in animal clinic.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting
- Basic knowledge of veterinary procedures and animal handling techniques
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and medication administration
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
