Required Skills
-Knowledge of Accuro Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system or experience with other similar EMR systems
-Good communication skills and organization
-High-level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
-Adaptability and team-oriented outlook
-Previous office-based clinical experience or education is an asset
Main Responsibilities of this Job
-Screening and checking in patients for appointments, and verifying demographics
-Triaging patient phone queries and voicemails, directing questions
-Scheduling appointments and coordinating provider schedules
-Managing incoming/outgoing mail, faxes, and e-mails
-Record keeping and chart management
-Rooming patients and assisting with flow through clinic, including heights/weights, vital signs, and handling of laboratory specimens
-Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
-Contributing to a welcoming and safe environment for all patient populations
