Overview
We are seeking a skilled Wok Chef / Wok Cook with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety within a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase expertise in Asian cuisine, particularly wok cooking, and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of wok-based dishes with precision and consistency, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and safety guidelines.
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during peak hours while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain proper storage of ingredients and supplies to prevent contamination or spoilage.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for quality cuisine.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavor and presentation of dishes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a wok chef or cook in a restaurant setting.
- Proven skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation specific to Asian cuisine.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with serving customers directly or working within a food service environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward culinary excellence.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
