Job Summary
We are hiring three reliable and friendly temporary event staff members to supervise inflatable games during an indoor Canada Day celebration in Fox Creek.
The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure children and other participants use the inflatable games safely and follow all posted rules. This is an active, public-facing role suited to individuals who are attentive, confident communicating with children and parents, and comfortable working in a busy event environment.
Training and safety instructions will be provided before the event begins.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children and guests while they use the inflatable games
- Explain and enforce all inflatable safety rules
- Control the number of participants permitted on each inflatable
- Organize lines and ensure participants enter and exit safely
- Prevent unsafe behaviour, overcrowding, and rough play
- Communicate politely and professionally with children, parents, and event guests
- Monitor the inflatable and surrounding area for potential safety concerns
- Immediately report equipment or safety issues to the event supervisor
- Help keep the indoor event area clean, organized, and welcoming
- Assist with light event setup and cleanup as required
Qualifications
- Reliable and available for the entire scheduled shift
- Comfortable supervising and communicating with children
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service focused
- Able to remain attentive while standing for extended periods
- Confident enforcing safety rules respectfully but firmly
- Able to work effectively in a busy indoor event environment
- Previous experience with children, events, recreation, or customer service is an asset but not required
