Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care by utilizing osteopathic techniques, ensuring optimal recovery and well-being. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and patient management. The Osteopath will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using osteopathic techniques
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
- Maintain accurate case management records and documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members in multiple languages, including bilingual or multilingual interactions
- Educate patients on treatment procedures, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care strategies
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care in acute and pediatric settings
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards during all procedures
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple cases while maintaining high standards of patient care
Requirements
- Certification or license as an Osteopath or equivalent qualification in healthcare
- Proven experience in hospital settings or clinical environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, case management, and patient care protocols
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities such as French are a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes
- Mechanical knowledge or understanding of medical equipment is advantageous
- Background in nursing or pediatrics is beneficial for specialized patient care roles
- Exceptional organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks effectively
- Analysis skills for evaluating patient conditions and treatment outcomes

Pay: $100.00-$150.00 per hour
