Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product selection, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
- Sell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring shelves are stocked
- Handle stock replenishment, inventory management, and product stocking
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
- Practice proper phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Assist in cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and balancing registers
- Support supervising staff with training new team members when needed
- Keep up to date on product information
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in electronics
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse customers
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
