We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our clients manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will diagnose, troubleshoot and provide electrical/control system/instrumentation support on all equipment in compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and applicable regulations.
Pay: $40.00-$46.00/hour
Shift: Day Shift
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and automation issues involving PLCs, VFDs, motors, controls, and instrumentation.
- Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders on time.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and support contractors as required.
Qualifications
- Licensed 309A Industrial Electrician or 442A Motor Systems and Automation Technician (309A preferred).
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of LOTO, arc flash, and workplace safety procedures.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred; mechanical or millwright experience is an asset.
