HANDS-ON LANDSCAPE/HARDSCAPE Crew Lead (Pavers & Retaining Walls EXP REQUIRED)
Are you an experienced, reliable, and hands-on landscaping professional looking to take your skills to the next level? Serene Landscaping is looking a Landscape Foreman and Crew Lead who is ready to roll up their sleeves and be actively involved in the work every day. This is NOT a supervisory-only role; as a lead hand, you will be leading the team while also working directly on-site, ensuring projects are completed from start to finish with quality and efficiency.
POSITION: Landscape CONSTRUCTION Crew Lead for upcoming season- Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Be hands-on: As the Foreman, you will work alongside your crew every day, completing all aspects of the job yourself, whether it’s laying pavers, installing sod, building retaining walls, or installing water features.
- Oversee the execution of various landscaping projects such as paver patios, driveways, walkways, retaining walls, ponds, and artificial turf (experience in these areas is a plus).
- Organize and manage daily work, ensuring each project progresses smoothly from start to finish, whether it’s a simple installation or a complex design.
- Read blueprints and understand elevations to ensure proper execution of designs.
- Ensure that high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism are maintained at all times.
- Lead by example: Be the first on-site and the last to leave, setting the pace and standard for your crew.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven hands-on experience in landscaping and hardscaping (paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, etc.).
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret elevations.
- Hands-on experience with pond/water feature installation and artificial turf is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills, but with a focus on being actively involved in the work every day.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure projects stay on track.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and dedicated to delivering quality results.
- Ability to work independently and with a team, always maintaining a hands-on role.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be on-site at all times, leading and participating in the work.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 44 per week
