Job Summary
The Ontario Electrical League is seeking a highly organized and motivated Event and Program Support Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events, while providing administrative and project support for a variety of workforce development and industry initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of OEL led events.
- Assist in managing major annual events from planning and design through post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate event logistics, communications, registrations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide administrative and project support for organizational initiatives and programs.
- Perform general office and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience planning and delivering events
- Comfortable speaking with groups and building positive relationships with members, partners, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and administrative skills.
Working Arrangement
- Full-time, in-office position.
- Five (5) days per week at the Ontario Electrical League office in Etobicoke, Ontario.
- Contract position ending June 29, 2027.
- Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000
Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
