The Role
This is a hands-on senior-level role with direct partner access from day one. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of client files across corporate tax, financial statements, and advisory work. You'll work alongside Usha Pawluski (CPA, 15+ years) and Glen Gadowsky (FCPA, 20+ years) contribute to a range of engagements that most accountants at larger firms never see.

What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of client files: corporate and personal income tax, financial statement preparation, and advisory engagements
- Prepare and review T2 corporate tax returns, compilations, review engagements, and year-end working papers
- Collaborate with partners on SR&ED claims, fractional CFO engagements, and succession planning files
- Build and maintain client relationships — you'll be a trusted point of contact, not just a file processor
- Support and mentor junior accounting staff
- Contribute to the growth of the firm as we move towards the future of accounting.
- What You Bring
- CPA designation + 2-3 years post designation, experience in public accounting (required)
- Strong technical foundation in corporate tax (T2), financial statement preparation, and client advisory
- Comfort working independently on client files with professional judgment
- Excellent communication skills — you can explain complex accounting concepts to business owners in plain language
- An entrepreneurial mindset: curious, proactive, takes ownership
