Murrieta's Bar & Grill is located in the heart of downtown Canmore, offering a warm, welcoming, and memorable dining experience with a stunning mountain backdrop. Our menu is hand-crafted using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and thoughtful detail goes into every part of what we do — from our steak program to our cocktail creations and signature wine list. What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience required; 3–5+ years preferred. Applicants with less than three years of relevant experience will not be considered
- Strong wine knowledge required, WSET certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership presence and team-first mindset
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Ability to leave a positive, memorable impression
- Enthusiastic, outgoing, upbeat personality
- Willing to go above and beyond for guests
- Ability to build professional guest relationships and create familiarity
- Prompt, warm table greetings and strong service awareness
- Ability to learn and maintain full food and beverage knowledge
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional table service, including taking orders and answering menu/beverage questions
- Explain daily features and guide guests through the menu
- Place orders accurately with the kitchen
- Run food and maintain a strong presence on the floor
- Complete quality checks throughout the dining experience
- Process bills, take payments, and follow all cashout procedures
- Handle guest concerns professionally with support from management
