What You Bring:

Post‑secondary degree in Environmental Science or equivalent
-
Minimum 3+ years of experience in environmental management, preferably with surface water quality and glycol mitigation exposure
-
Experience conducting fieldwork, including water sampling and inspections
-
Ability to obtain and maintain:
-
Aeronautical Radio License
-
Airside Vehicle Operator Permit (AVOP)
-
Required Airport Security Clearance
-
Experience with Net Zero Carbon programs and sustainability initiatives
-
Knowledge of environmental management systems and regulatory frameworks
-
Ability to evaluate technical data, identify trends, and ensure regulatory compliance
-
Experience with stormwater quality management, conveyance systems, and glycol mitigation (asset)
-
Understanding of City of Hamilton bylaws related to stormwater and sanitary systems (asset)
-
Knowledge of CARs and CASRs (asset)
-
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and database‑driven analysis
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences
-
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships
-
Effective decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities
-
High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation

Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Adaptability and ability to work in a dynamic operational environment
Physical Requirements: Must be able to safely navigate large facilities, including climbing ladders, walking on uneven surfaces, standing / walking for long periods of time and occasionally lifting or moving equipment or materials.
Primary Work Location: On-Site at Hamilton International Airport
