We're looking for a motivated Sous Chef who is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to take on a leadership role in one of Toronto's premier hospitality destinations.
Working alongside our Executive Chef, you'll help lead day-to-day kitchen operations while maintaining the high standards our guests expect.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
- Lead and support the kitchen team during service.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently to our standards.
- Train, mentor, and develop Line Cooks and Kitchen Prep staff.
- Help manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and food costs.
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and health regulation compliance.
- Assist with scheduling and labour management.
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal features.
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Senior Line Cook ready to take the next step.
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practices.
- A proactive, hands-on leader with a strong work ethic.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
