Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Ruth's Chris Steak House, located inside the Wyndham Grand Fallsview hotel. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the kitchen by assisting in meal preparation and ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen interest in the food industry.

- Passionately prepare, portion, and/or cook food items to quality specifications
- Ensure exceptional presentation by checking/dressing dishes before they are served
- Showcase superior dexterity skills to operate cutting tools quickly and safely

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
