Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality support to patients across various care settings. Duties
- Provide personalized patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support with medication administration following proper protocols
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Help patients with daily activities such as grooming and hygiene
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning duties
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to healthcare professionals
- Support patients with dementia or disabilities by implementing specialized care plans
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document care provided accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with people with disabilities is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Strong caregiving skills combined with compassion and patience
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly
- Flexibility to adapt to different patient needs and care plans
- Certification or training in medication administration is a plus but not mandatory
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required
