Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Golf Shop Assistant to join our team at our scenic golf course. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, assist with retail sales, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for our golfers. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality environment and support our guests' overall experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Assist with retail sales of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories
- Book tee times over the phone and in person
- Check-in golfers in the pro shop, upon their arrival, confirm their booking and process payment for their golf and purchases
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage tee time bookings and reservations using the point-of-sale system
- Provide information about course rules, events, and amenities to guests
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the golf shop area
- Support food service operations if applicable,
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, creating a positive experience for all visitors
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
