Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the bar and tables
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate cash registers with proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock supplies as needed, including glassware, utensils, and beverages
- Ensure responsible serving of alcohol following all legal regulations and company policies
- Assist in food handling, serving, and clearing tables efficiently
Skills
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards, food safety, and food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining quality service
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and calculating bills or tips
- Knowledge of hospitality best practices to create a welcoming environment
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members seamlessly
- Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific procedures
