The Role:
We’re looking for a reliable Prep Cook to support the kitchen by setting a strong foundation for daily service. This role focuses on precision, organization, and consistency—working closely with the kitchen leadership team to prepare ingredients, maintain a clean and efficient workspace, and ensure the kitchen is fully set up for a smooth service.
This position requires consistent availability - 3pm to 11pm, Wednesday through Sunday
From prep to organizing stations and managing pars, you’ll play a key part in upholding quality standards and ensuring every dish starts with well-executed, thoughtful preparation. This is an essential behind-the-scenes role that contributes directly to the success of service while supporting a positive, team-driven kitchen environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support smooth day-to-day kitchen operations through focused and efficient prep work
- Prepare ingredients according to established recipes, prep lists, and portioning standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked prep environment at all times
- Follow kitchen systems and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Accurately execute all prep tasks with attention to detail and quality
- Ensure all items are properly labelled, stored, and rotated according to standards
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace before, during, and after shifts
- Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure readiness for service
- Contribute to overall kitchen consistency through disciplined and organized execution

What You Bring:
- 1–2+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen or prep-focused environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, consistency, and organization
- A solid understanding of basic kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards
- A positive, team-first attitude with clear and effective communication
- Ability to stay organized, manage time efficiently, and work independently
- A genuine interest in food, hospitality, and learning in a professional kitchen
- Reliable availability
