Experienced Dental Administrative Team Lead

About Us
We are a busy, modern, patient-focused dental clinic committed to delivering exceptional care and outstanding customer service. Our front office team includes 4 to 5 full-time administrative staff, and we are looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated Dental Administrative Team Lead to support, guide, and lead the team while ensuring an exceptional experience for every patient.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and support a team of 4 to 5 full-time administrative staff.
* Manage the front desk, patient scheduling, and appointment optimization in a busy clinic environment.
* Ensure excellent patient service from check-in to check-out.
* Train, onboard, and mentor new administrative team members.
* Monitor office performance, productivity, and scheduling efficiency.
* Handle patient concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
* Verify insurance information and assist with treatment estimates and claims.
* Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable responsibilities, including invoicing, payment processing, and follow-up as needed.
* Coordinate communication between dentists, hygienists, and the administrative team.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
* Assist with administrative reporting and other office management duties as required.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of dental administration experience.
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience is required.
* Strong knowledge of dental insurance, treatment coordination, and scheduling.
* Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix, or Abeldent).
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to lead by example and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
