Canadian Maintenance & Safety is a family-owned company established in 1977. We are a distribution / wholesale company, focused on B2B (business to business). Our product line is extensive, selling health & safety products, facility maintenance products, material handling, facilities identification, janitorial & sanitation products.
The company is located at 921 Progress Avenue Toronto, east of Markham Rd.
TTC & Go Transit stops are within a 1-minute walk of our office.
Position Overview – In office
· Answering phones & directing calls.
· Service calls & emails to customers (order ready for pickup, etc.)
· Monitor company general email and re-direct or respond as appropriate.
· Monitor company website inquiries and re-direct or respond as appropriate.
· Order taking – phone / email / online.
· Execute buying from review of requirements to order placement and delivery follow-up.
· Monitor inventory levels daily to ensure replenishment in a timely and efficient manner.
· Update and maintain accurate vendor/customer pricing information on ERP and the website.
· Build and maintain positive vendor relationships through professional interactions and communication.
· Review/resolve issues such as late deliveries, defective goods, or billing discrepancies with vendors.
· Maintain special pricing authorization on applicable platforms.
· Request quotes from vendors for sales opportunities, manage quotes through to orders.
· Carefully review data to be entered for completeness and correctness, identifying errors or inconsistencies, and resolving discrepancies.
· Entering/editing new users to the website.
· Document Creation: sign artwork, clothing artwork, etc. uploaded to the product Sku/order on ERP.
· Additional requests as determined by management.

Versaccounts (ERP software used by CMS)
Full training will be required on the use of this program. It will be provided through a series of on-line webinars, Zoom seminars and in-person learning opportunities. Using Versaccounts, you will:
· Enter customer sales orders.
· Provide sales order confirmations.
· Prepare customer quotations.
· Order processing: phone / email / online
· Expedite purchase orders
· Update customer database
· Update vendor database
· Update price policies.
Microsoft Office 365: a working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word is beneficial. Task specific training will be available.
