Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable HVAC General Labourer to support our team in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves hands-on work in construction and maintenance environments, requiring mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to follow schematics and safety protocols to ensure efficient project completion.
Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Support plumbing and appliance repair tasks as needed during system installations or troubleshooting.
- Use welding tools and techniques for system fabrication or repair projects.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to aid in accurate installation and repairs.
- Perform general construction tasks including lifting, carrying, and positioning materials or equipment.
- Support boiler maintenance and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Assist experienced mechanics with troubleshooting mechanical issues using basic diagnostic skills.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and HVAC components.
- Mechanical knowledge related to system installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Experience with appliance repair or general construction is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working in various environmental conditions.
- Good teamwork skills with a focus on safety and efficiency on job sites.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to HVAC systems and mechanical troubleshooting.
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
