We are currently accepting resumes for full-time knowledgeable Journeyman Electricians. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to continuously learn, teach and grow your skill set.
As an Electrician with CDeen Electric, you would be responsible for installing electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes and customer specifications, for performing efficiently and in a safe manner while minimizing customer downtime. It is crucial that our electrician promotes a positive company image through consistency, quality, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical code specifications
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and team members
- Contribute to high standards of health and safety
- Respond to service calls in company provided service vehicle
- Troubleshooting and repairs of emergency electrical issues
- Some after hours/weekend work required
- Perform both small 1 day jobs/repairs and longer-term project installations
- Work individually and as part of a crew
- Be able to work independently with remote management/supervision
- Work with customers to identify areas in need of repair/maintenance
- Participating/completing pre-inspections, installation and completion of all Electrical projects
- Responsible for the any assigned apprentices and their training
- Managing the quality assurance processes and report to senior management
- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
- Demonstrating your commitment to safety in the workplace
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Successfully able to run small jobs in a timely manner with little to no supervision
- Installing conduit and wire and terminating conductors
- Troubleshooting circuitry and replacing damaged components on industrial equipment and systems
- Installing fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems such as; Wire motors, beacon lights, photo-eyes, and other control devices
- Ordering required parts and controlling all job materials using our computer system
- Completing work orders as per client specifications and input; reviewing the completed job with the customer, to ensure complete satisfaction
- Installation and maintenance of electrical systems including EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit, cable tray, instrumentation and controls wiring, new service installations, lighting installations, and more
- Building and wiring of electrical control panels
Qualifications
- 309A licence
- Valid G driver's licence with clean abstract
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Willingness to stock and maintain company provided service vehicle
- Willingness to participate in after hours/weekend service and installation work
- Excellent organization and people skill
- Troubleshooting experience - control/electrical/mechanical issues
- Ability to be self-directed while working closely with remote management
- Safety training (Working at Heights/Elevated Work Platform/Common Core/First Aid -CPR/WHIMIS)
ABOUT US
We are an electrical company based in Moorefield, Ontario called C. Deen Electric. Established in 2009 we have grown to a sizable team of 20 people, specializing in residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural. We also offer utility services and generator systems.
Salary range: $35 - $40 per hour
Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
