Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman (or woman!) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that our facilities remain in excellent condition. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing various repair and maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall functionality and aesthetics of our properties.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or clients, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assist with installations of fixtures and appliances as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and maintenance practices.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
