Position: Registered Kinesiology
Availability: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 8pm; Friday, 8am to 5pm; Saturday, 9am to 1pm
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 based on experience and certifications
We are looking for an energetic team player who will work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team of practitioners. Primarily treating patients, running exercise classes, and working with our rehab team to help keep clinic running smoothly.
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor of Kinesiology degree or higher, New Grads welcome to apply
- 2years Registered as a Kinesiologist an asset
- Highly motivated, keen attention to detail, active listener, clear communicator
- Awareness of computer programs such as SimpleSet and JaneApp an asset.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position
- Demonstrated understanding of proper exercise technique and prescription
- Extended durations of standing and walking
- Twisting, bending, squatting, stooping
- Ability to lift minimum 50lbs.
- Administrative experience
- Phone etiquette
Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Physiotherapists with patient care as delegated by the PT.
- Carry own case load of patients
- Run rehab exercise classes
- Exercise supervision
- Application of modalities (laser, ultrasounds, heat/cold therapy, etc.)
- Clean and sanitize rooms and treatment spaces between patients and ensure general cleanliness of the clinic
- Ensure rooms are stocked and maintain inventory
- Wash, dry, fold and restock laundry
- Shifts will be discussed during interview process
- Other responsibilities as required
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
