The Opportunity
We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain our fleet of modular office trailers and our shop in Deer Lake, NL. You'll perform a variety of preventive maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep to ensure our trailers and facilities remain safe, functional, and ready to support our operations. If you enjoy solving problems, can work independently, and take pride in quality workmanship, we'd like to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Performing general repairs, from cosmetic fixes to more involved carpentry work
- Cleaning and detailing the interior from top to bottom, including scrubbing and waxing floors
- Repainting walls and touch-ups to restore a fresh, professional appearance
- Handling minor plumbing or electrical tasks to ensure everything functions as it should
- Adding or removing interior walls or features based on each customer’s specific needs
- Conducting quality checks to ensure every trailer meets our high standards before it heads back out on rent
- Greasing trailer axles and performing basic preventative maintenance
- Other miscellaneous tasks as required
What You Bring
- Building maintenance and/or carpentry experience
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- A self-starting attitude and solid work ethic
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to juggle tasks and manage time effectively
- Bonus: Experience with electrical or plumbing work
