Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented High Pressure Waterblasting Coating Removal Technician to join our team. This role involves utilizing high-pressure waterblasting equipment to remove coatings from various surfaces, ensuring thorough cleaning and preparation for subsequent processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with tools and facilities maintenance, demonstrate strong safety awareness, and possess excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. Duties
- Operate high-pressure waterblasting equipment safely and efficiently to remove coatings from industrial surfaces, structures, or equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment to assist with surface preparation and cleaning tasks.
- Perform maintenance tasks related to coating removal projects, ensuring work areas are clean and hazard-free.
- Conduct commercial cleaning activities as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to support waterblasting operations and surface preparation.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress, safety concerns, or equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and custodial or facility maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices surface preparation techniques.
- Strong understanding of waterblasting equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during project tasks.
- Excellent time management skills to complete projects within designated timeframes.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
- Customer service orientation when interacting with clients or site visitors as needed. This position is ideal for individuals committed to safety, quality workmanship, and efficient project execution in industrial cleaning environments.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
