Overview of role:
The Analyst Learning / Learning Management Systems Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operation as well as forward looking improvements for multiple Learning Management Systems and other learning systems within WestJet. As a trusted partner the Learning Management Systems Analyst works with Business Units to understand their LMS requirements, make recommendations for the best solution for the need, and implement agreed upon solutions
Key Deliverables Include:
- Work with multiple business units to gather LMS requirements and make recommendations on LMS usage to meet their needs
- Manage and build multiple training curricula, programs, and learning items in highly regulated environments
- Facilitate the creation, updating, and documentation of learning system standards, policies, and procedures; maintain data integrity rules and processes
- Provide requirements for enhancements and changes to learning systems to support internal process improvements
- Participate in the testing and rollout of learning system upgrades and process changes
- Provide process and technical support to other system users
- Generate reports on training activities in support of compliance and audit requirements
- Ensure all training naming conventions are maintained in accordance with established processes and agreements
- Support business units with calendar builds, training curriculum additions, facility assignments, and other tasks as required
- Provide employee support for learning system user experience issues and serve as a resource when the IT Service Desk is unable to resolve them
Experience and Qualifications:
- 3+ years' Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is required; experience with Dayforce and/or Pelesys is preferred
- Strong relationship-building skills, with experience working in a consultative and collaborative manner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of applications and tools used in training development; experience with Articulate 360 is preferred
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional communicator who is flexible, detail-oriented, and proactive, with exceptional time management and organizational skills
