Job Duties
- -Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services
-Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems as well as pump repairs on vehicles and equipment
-Use shop provided PC diagnostic tools as well as on board diagnostic systems, training available.
-Good understanding of time management, cost and being able to achieve goals to meet specific timelines, while also keeping shop management in the loop of repair time lines.
-Performs all work with the finest attention to details
-Conduct vagarious inspections of all aspects of equipment, engine, drive lines, brakes, pumping and auxiliary system, in order to keep our fleet running at the highest possible standards.
-Complete required paper work with detail to all work preformed, documenting parts, time and repairs completed.
-Review, understand, and complete driver handed in action items and repair requests.
-Preform maintance related work as per service and assigned task from shop manager and notify of other repairs requiring attention during work.
-Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards
-Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. -Work well along side our young and growing team.
Minimum Requirements
· Valid Heavy-Duty Mechanic Certification or Heavy-Duty Technician journeyman certification, or enrolled as an Alberta apprentice
· Class 5 license, 1 or 3 considered and asset
· Competency in keeping records and document repairs and diagnose problems
· Work hours may include overtime and to be put on to assist with on call schedule
· Must be able to supply your own set of hand tools to perform basic repairs, shop supplies all needed larger tools to efficiently complete task.
· Pre-hire drug and alcohol testing.

· Strong attention to detail
· Good interpersonal, communication, organizational and analytical/problem solving abilities are very important job performance
· Basic experience and knowledge of triplex pumps, T&E pumps and basic plumbing systems would be considered an asset.
· Must be local to the area
