We are seeking a talented, passionate, and personable licensed Hairstylist to join our vibrant team in our Natural Hair Salon. Free training provided.
ellenoire is a small woman & black owned business specialising in curly & natural hair services & products in Dundas, ON. We are professional, agile, innovative, and our goal is to provide natural hair and skin products, natural hair services & education.

We will train you in the natural hair method we have become known for. No need to bring clients unless you want to, we have enough clients to go around!
Duties:
- Provide a wide range of hair styling services including cutting, coloring, and styling (we do not use any straightening techniques here but you will be trained to work this way)
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable hairstyles and products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the salon
- Assist with front desk duties as needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service
- Promote retail sales by recommending and selling natural hair care products
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
- Proficiency in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. All staff clean, organize and care for our salon and store
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently

Requirements
- Proven experience in hair styling, color application, and haircutting techniques with references
- A valid ontario hairstyling licence
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining professionalism
- A professional appearance with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Pay: $17.60-$48.13 per hour
