Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a bricklayer. This role involves working on various construction, renovation, and restoration projects, requiring a strong understanding of building techniques and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and efficient project completion.
Duties
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to perform construction, masonry, and restoration tasks
- Assist with renovation and restoration projects, including caulking and other finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with safety guidelines
- Perform demolition, site preparation, and cleanup as needed
- Follow detailed schematics and instructions to complete projects accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high safety standards
Experience
- Proven experience in construction, masonry, or renovation work
- Operate construction tools and equipment safely, including mixers, saws, and scaffolding
- Experience laying brick, concrete block, stone, and other masonry materials
- Knowledge of masonry techniques, building codes, and safety regulations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for coordinating with other trades and supervisors.
- Experience maintaining a clean and safe construction site.
- Ability to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship
